Marvel fans have been talking about the "Avengers 2" footage that leaked online. The video featured a lot of explosions and cars flipping. It also showed some of the characters of the sequel including Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, Captain America, and Thor. Chris Hemsworth and Chris Evans were even seen having a few laughs behind the scenes.
The footage was part of the special "Marvel: 75 Years, From Pulp to Pop". Before "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" clip was shown, Scott Lang a.k.a. Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) were seen talking in the laboratory. The next scene showed the con-man trying to steal the suit, but did he succeed? That's something we will find out when Peyton Reed's new film hits the theatres on July 17, 2015.
The "Avengers 2" footage that leaked online started out rumors that Ant-Man may make a cameo in Joss Whedon's movie. We all know that all characters are connected in the Marvel Cinematic Universe so there's a possibility that Ant-Man will appear in the sequel.
Based on the synopsis of "The Avengers: Age of Ultron", it gave a hint that Tony Stark didn't create Ultron. Marvel.com reported, "When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth's Mightiest Heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance."
According to Cinema Blend, "This right here could mean two separate possibilities for The Avengers: Age Of Ultron: it means that not only do we have a possible origin story for The Vision, we also have a possible tie to Ant-Man that could minorly tweak the origins of Ultron."
The website also said, "If Whedon's previous statement is correct, and this Ant-Man casting scoop is any indication, Hank Pym and Howard Stark may have created Ultron together." However, the director claimed that Paul Rudd's character won't appear in the second installment of "The Avengers".
Comic Book Movie reported Whedon saying, "In the origin story, there was Hank Pym, so a lot of people assumed that he will be in the mix. He's not. We're basically taking the things from the comics for the movies that we need and can use. A lot of stuff has to fall by the wayside."
