Chef Gordon Ramsay is producing a new TV show to be called "Best New Restaurant". According to a report from Las Vegas Sun, the show will proceed amid the reality star's ongoing legal battles.
Chef Gordon Ramsay's new TV show will have him behind the camera as an executive producer.
The reality competition will be hosted by acclaimed chef and restaurateur Tom Colicchio, who will travel America to find the best new restaurants. He is also co-producing the show along with Chef Gordon Ramsay.
News about Chef Gordon Ramsay's latest project follows reports about the reality star's on-going legal bout against his father-in-law, Christopher Hutcheson.
According to an earlier report from Daily Mail, the "Hell's Kitchen" star is claiming that Christopher Hutcheson forged his signature to secure a rental agreement for a new restaurant.
As a result of allegedly having his signature copied, the culinary master turned reality star is being held accountable for a £640,000-a-year rental agreement for a lease on York & Albany pub near Regent's Park. The contract for the said London restaurant will run for 25 years.
In a report from Mirror UK, the "Kitchen Nightmares" host expressed during a court hearing his unhappiness about how Christopher Hutcheson managed his restaurant business.
Romie Tager, a rep for York & Albany owner Gary Love who previously partnered with the reality star, cross-examined Chef Gordon Ramsay. He told the popular chef: "You were complaining about (your father-in-law). You thought of him as treating you like a performing donkey - making you overwork away from the office while he was up to no good in the office."
The culinary master turned TV personality replied: "Yes", pointing out that working for his father-in-law made him feel like "a performing monkey".
Chancery Division judge Mr Justice Morgan prodded Chef Gordon Ramsay: "You were doing the donkey work. You were out there working day in, day out while (Mr Hutcheson) had a cushy number at the office where he was able to abstract personal funds for personal gain."
Chef Gordon Ramsay responded: "I am not saying this is true, but this is what you are saying."
