Latest news on Sherri Shepherd suggests her return to daytime TV show. According to Eurweb, months after former "The View" co-host left the show, she went to ABC morning show's rival, "The Talk" as guest co-host.
Reportedly, the comedienne had a great time promoting her new film with Chris Rock entitled "Top Five." Sherri enjoyed talking with the ladies of "The Talk" at the "talk" table discussing her departure from "The View" and her thoughts after the leaving the show.
It appears the Sherri has moved on happily from the morning hosting since she experienced the positive conspiracy of the universe. According to the report, after her stint in ABC's morning show, she had played the role of the wicked stepmother on Broadway in Rodger & Hammerstein's "Cinderella," appeared in a 10-episode arc on TV Land's "The Soul Man," in addition to her role in "Top Five."
Sherri said she "miss doing this" referring to being on a talk show and she also expressed her desire to go back on "Dancing with the Stars" reunion show and compete against Wendy Williams.
Rumor Fix reported Sherri jokingly said she'd love to be the "Chocolate Ellen" hosting her own talk show with humor. But as much as she wanted, she has a lot of work to do and can't see herself going back yet.
"I don't believe in going back. I'm looking forward, not behind. Would I want to go back...no, I want to keep going forward!" the 47-year-old comedienne said.
Earlier last month, Daily Mail reported ABC News executives are trying to get Sherri or Joy Behar to return to "The View" in an effort to boost ratings. The morning talk show had a good spot during its September 16 debut with new moderators Rosie, Nicolle Wallace, Rosie Perez and the returning Whoopi Goldberg, however, the rating fall dramatically, hitting numbers below those of the show's last season.
