A dissenter in the Bill Cosby scandal expressed disappointment by vandalizing the comedian's star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Bill Cosby's star on the Walk of Fame is vandalized in the heat of sexual assault allegations. The comedian's star was defaced with the word "rapist" written with marker pen.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce addressed the offense, saying "When people are unhappy with one of our honorees, we would hope that they would project their anger in more positive ways." (yahoo.com)
More than a dozen women came forward claiming sexual assault charges against Cosby, in incidents which happened over the past several decades. The latest is California resident Judy Huth, who filed a sexual battery lawsuit against the comedian in a 1974 run-in, when she was fifteen years old.
Cosby's legal counsel denounced the recent defamation, insisting his client hasn't been charged with any crime.
Mailonline reported Cosby's involvement with Paige Young, Playboy Playmate of the month November 1968. Young committed suicide in 1974 and allegedly left a suicide note dropping names of those responsible for her decline.
According to the source, Cosby and Hefner were involved in many projects, and the comedian frequented the Playboy mansion, allegedly attracted to Young at the peak of her popularity.
Tamara Green, an attorney and complainant in the case, confirms to MailOnline she's acquainted with Young in the modeling circles, and remembering seeing her and Cosby together.
"Paige was into her drugs, and Bill wanted to get her some, she was along on the trip like his pet dog. She was a very subdued person, more like moon on the water in terms of her personality.
Paige always seemed in a stupor, a daze, like he was controlling her. All I remember is that their relationship wasn't healthy." (extratv.com)
Updates on the Bill Cosby scandal have colleagues at a loss. Comedians Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock vaguely expressed their disappointment.
In an interview with People, Seinfeld said "I was very upset, very upset. Still upset. I don't know what to make of it, but it's just upsetting."
Chris Rock in a Vulture interview admits the industry somewhat lost another great comedian.
"I don't know what to say. What do you say? I hope it's not true. I grew up on Cosby. I love Cosby, and I just hope it's not true. It's a weird year for comedy. We lost Robin [Williams], we lost Joan [Rivers], and we kind of lost Cosby."
