The expected birth of her second child believed to be a girl could be a factor for the decreasing popularity since it signals that she has settled in to the Palace. However, her rivalry with Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall tipped to be the next queen could have Catherine take a back bench in the affairs of the Royal Palace.
