The spoilers for "Game of Thrones" season 5 have remained scant and bordered on speculation, but the costume designer has clarified the whole nippled breastplates on the Sand Snakes that sent online forums on a frenzy. Meanwhile, new cast Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje teased about his character, Malko.

According to the New York Magazine, Michele Clapton said that the potruding nipples on the breastplates were not her intention, and in fact, she's not "terribly keen on it."

"I don't see the necessity for it," she said. "I wouldn't do it on men, and I don't really like the concept of it on women. Of course you have to have the woman's shape. That's fine. But [nipples on armor] is almost from a man's point of view, and there's something slightly cheesy about it."

She narrated that it was entirely an accident, because the structured molds to make the armors were not sanded thoroughly.

"They sand it off to an extent, but they didn't do it as much as I wanted them to," Clapton said. So when she saw the leaked photos, she was as surprised as the rest of the "Game of Thrones" geeks.

"I was surprised when I saw the picture. But I didn't notice them when I was there. And sometimes you can't go back and change things," she said, although she didn't say that they will stay on permanently.

Meanwhile, cast Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje teased "Game of Thrones" season 5 spoilers to Vulture magazine as he said that his character isn't really in George R. R. Martin's mind in the "A Song of Fire and Ice" series.

"The character that I play, it's actually advantageous to me not to actually know too much. That's all I'm going to say," he said. Malko is set to appear in the premiere episode.

Watch out for more "Game of Thrones" season 5 spoilers that will be published ahead of the airing date, which was postponed from the original April 2015 schedule.
