Grumpy Cat is a very rich cat, far wealthier than one would think.

The feline, who become Internet-famous because of her angry expression, has reportedly made $100 million over the past two years, according to Express.

How did Grumpy Cat make all that money?

Grumpy Cat, who is actually named Tardar Sauce, has gotten multiple commercial deals and has starred in movies and been featured in books as well as the “Today” show since she shot to fame in 2012, according to TIME.

“What she’s achieved in such a short time is unimaginable and absolutely mind-blowing,” Grumpy Cat’s owner Tabatha Bundesen of Morristown, Arizona stated.

She added, “I was able to quit my job as a waitress within days of her first appearance on social media and the phone simply hasn’t stopped ringing since.”

Tardar Sauce reportedly has a “grumpy face” because she was born with an underbite and dwarfism.

Despite the claims that Grumpy Cat made an enormous amount of money through her commercial and movie work, her owner has reportedly claimed the number is “completely inaccurate,” according to the Washington Post.

Although both Grumpy Cat’s owner and manager have reportedly declined to say exactly how much she makes, the Washington Post had reportedly estimated her YouTube earnings at roughly $5,100 to $42,400 annually last June.

Grumpy Cat’s latest commercial is reportedly an iced coffee line called Grumppuccio.
