Stephanie Moseley, the star of VH1's "Hit The Floor" and her husband, rapper Earl Hayes, were reportedly found dead by the Los Angeles police early Monday in their apartment, according to TIME.
Shortly after Stephanie Moseley and Earl Hayes were found dead, it has been reported that Floyd Mayweather witnessed the alleged murder-suicide over a FaceTime call on Monday, according to the U.K.'s The Independent.
Hayes reportedly called Mayweather on Monday morning, claiming that Moseley had been unfaithful to him, according to TMZ. It has reportedly been confirmed by police yesterday that 30-year-old Stephanie Moseley was found dead with gun shot wounds that had been made by her 36-year-old husband.
When the boxing champion received the phone call, he reportedly pleaded Hayes not to kill his wife, but the artist ultimately murdered Moseley before turning the gun on himself, police have confirmed.
"Los Angeles Police Department West Bureau Homicide Detectives are investigating an apparent murder-suicide that occurred earlier today in Park La Brea," an LAPD statement said.
It continued, "On Monday, December 8, 2014, around 7:30 a.m., Wilshire Division patrol officers responded to a radio call of a shooting in the 300 block of Hauser Avenue. When officers arrived at the apartment complex they heard additional shots being fired. LAPD's SWAT officers responded to the location and discovered two victims inside the apartment suffering from gunshot wounds."
The statement concluded, "The initial investigation revealed that 34-year-old Earl Warren Hayes shot his wife, 30-year-old Stephanie Elyse Moseley to death and then took his own life."
Mayweather is reportedly in a state of shock and is struggling to come to terms with what he saw.
Friends of the couple reportedly told L.A. TV station KTLA that they had been seeing problems before the alleged murder-suicide.
"No situation's perfect," stated Eva Marcille Pigford, a friend of Moseley.
She continued, "Stephanie was an absolute angel. She really was. She's connected so many people. She's just loved. She will never, ever, ever, ever be forgotten."
