Chef Gordon Ramsay seems to have "traumatized" the young contestants of his TV show, "Master Chef Junior". However, a report from New York Post said the former contenders have spoken up to clarify what it was really like to work with the reality star.
A nine-year-old fan-favorite named Oona shared how she was "traumatized" when the culinary master turned TV personality became mad.
She narrated: "At one point, Gordon was so angry, his face was red... It's incredibly traumatizing."
However, 13-year-old Adaiah shared how Chef Gordon Ramsay's strictness is only intended to help aspiring chefs like them. "He gave really good constructive criticism, he was always there to help you get better," she explained.
Aside from the experience of working with a renowned chef like Gordon Ramsay, Oona shared how she learned so much from joining "Master Chef Junior".
She also admitted that she wishes she did some of her recipes differently: "I was thinking as I was watching the show that I should have done the ceviche."
Adaiah also recalled how Chef Gordon Ramsay asked them to cook a duck in one of the challenges. While she obliged, Adaiah said she does not plan to repeat the duck recipe, saying: "To me, duck isn't an animal you should eat."
While all seems to be well with the TV career of Chef Gordon Ramsay - from "Master Chef Junior" to "Kitchen Nightmares" and an upcoming program named "Best New Restaurant" - it is the opposite for his restaurant business.
According to an earlier report from Daily Mail, the reality star is claiming that his father-in-law, Christopher Hutcheson, forged his signature to secure a rental agreement for a new restaurant.
As a result of allegedly having his signature copied, the culinary master turned reality star is being held accountable for a £640,000-a-year rental agreement for a lease on York & Albany pub near Regent's Park. The contract for the said London restaurant will run for 25 years.
