It's Nicole Kidman and baby news in an upcoming issue of Elle Magazine.

There's Nicole Kidman baby news to look forward to in the January issue of Elle. Kidman stars in new movie "Paddington," out on January 16 next year. The star of "Moulin Rouge" talks about a semi-domestic life with hubby Keith Urban, among other things.

One of the more striking reveals of the report is Kidman's apparent longing to have another baby bump. The topic was unexpected, and the actress gushes out after realizing her interviewer is expecting.

"Oh my gosh, you are so lucky. Is this your first?" When her interviewer confirmed it was, the actress swooned.

"I had my last one at 43. My grandmother had her last at 49. Every month, I'm like, 'I hope I'm pregnant!'"

Kidman was also willing to have the tabloids swarm at her pointblank comment, practically shushing her publicist when the latter insisted the baby comment be considered off the record.

"'Off the record'? I don't mind! Why not, right? I wish I was!"

Kidman's engagement to hubby Keith Urban was quite short, in retrospect. It turns out the actress prefers things spontaneous, even when it comes to romantic relationships. Keith and Nicole were married after less than a month of dating.

"I'm spontaneous. I jump in. I kind of like getting married and then getting to know each other; I know that it sounds incredibly strange, but to me, it's a more natural process."

Kidman's previous marriage to "Edge of Tomorrow" star Tom Cruise is water under the bridge, but the actress remembers they were drawn closer working with Stanley Kubrick in "Eyes Wide Shut." Kidman also says the director influenced her in choosing roles.

"He would always say, 'You're a character actress, Nicole. Don't play leading ladies. Go and find the character roles.'"

"We [with Tom Cruise] loved it. Everyone thought that was when our marriage started to break down-not at all. That movie was a great part of our life together, and I'm glad we have it."
