Recently Sony Unveiled its Grey Limited Edition 20th Anniversary PS4 and its causing a big buzz among gamers with one review titled, 'The Sony Playstion Limited-edition is 'Wonderful.' Sony's celebration of the Playstation's 20th anniversary includes a special PS4 model that gamers would love to get their hands on. Unfortunately, the Playstation Grey Limited Edition 20th Anniversary PS4 will not be supplied through retail channels.

Going back in history the first PlayStation launched in 1994 in Japan and the anniversary falls on December 3rd.

The original grey finishing reflecting the first PlayStation console will be used on the 20th anniversary commemoration model for the PlayStation, leading PS4 gamers back to nostalgic 1994. The Japanese electronics giant has produced 12,300 Playstation consoles, in line with 12/3 or December 3rd. Sony plans to ship the Playstation Grey Limited Edition 20th Anniversary PS4 globally at a uniform price tag of $616.

Sony Worldwide Studios President, Shuhei Yoshida, said in a blog post, "The mid-90s were an exciting time for game developers, driven by the explosion of powerful but affordable 3D graphics rendering hardware and the birth of many young and adventurous development studios," PC Magazine reported.

Yoshida added, "The original PlayStation was meant to embody that sense of adventure and discovery, that sense that anything was possible."

Playstation Grey Limited Edition 20th Anniversary PS4 runs on an x86 processor and improved PC GPU, and runs on 8GB high-speed unified memory. The Playstation Grey Limited Edition 20th Anniversary PS4's system memory is supported by PS4 storage. The 2oth anniversary commemorating PS4 will come with an enhanced DualShock 4 controller, "original grey" 20th Anniversary Edition pack.
