Joan Rivers news reported more details about the will of the late "Fashion Police" host. According to a report from Daily Mail, the inheritance will be shared by the comedienne's only daughter, Melissa Rivers, with several charities.
Joan Rivers' will was filed earlier this week at the New York State Surrogate's Court. Joan Rivers news revealed that her 46-year-old daughter was stated in her will as the executor of her $150 million trust fund. The will detailed that Melissa Rivers would be most likely to have "the broadest and most absolute permissible direction to delegate the fortune to family, friends and charities."
Aside from Melissa Rivers, co-executors of Joan Rivers' trust fund include her business manager Michael D Karlin and interior designer Robert Higdon.
Joan Rivers news from Daily Mail also revealed that the late TV icon specified charities who will also receive a portion of her fortune. The said charities include Guide Dogs for the Blind in California, God's Love We Deliver in New York, the Jewish Guild for the Blind, Simon Wisenthal Center, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Jewish Home and Hospital Foundation.
Aside from Melissa Rivers and her mother's specified charities, other recipients of Joan Rivers' fortune include her grandson, Cooper Endicott, as well as children of her sister Barbara. A share will also be given to the late TV star's assistants, namely Jocelyn Pickett and Sabrina Lott Miller. Her former publicist, Scott Currie, was also stated as a recipient.
Given all the recipients who will partake of Joan Rivers' inheritance, the biggest portion of her estate will still go to Melissa Rivers. An earlier report from Us Weekly said the "Fashion Police" producer will receive a total of $100 Million worth of cash, investments, and antiques.
Part of Joan Rivers' estate consist of antiques from her upscale New York apartment, which her only daughter will also inherit.
Nonetheless, a source shared to Us Weekly that Melissa Rivers inheriting Joan Rivers' estate is "no consolation for losing her mother so soon."
