Will the Mikaelsons have a more peaceful life now that Esther has been somewhat dealt with? With Finn and Mikael still on the loose, Klaus and his family are in grave danger. Find out what else will happen when "The Originals" season 2 will continue early next year.
Hayley's marriage to Jackson offers Elijah the solution to keep her safe from him as well as give her the chance to do something for her people. This union will also potentially start an alliance between werewolves and vampires.
Before he lets her go completely though, they allow each other to give in to the sexual tension that has been building between them for the longest time.
Meanwhile, an outraged Finn will be seeking revenge for Esther's downfall.
According to executive producer Michael Narducci's interview with Entertainment Weekly regarding "The Originals" season 2, the eldest Mikaelson son will have to decide whether or not to accept the alliance with Mikael since he did tell Cammie that he hates all the vampires.
"At the same time, we know that Finn has always been very loyal to his mother and she's out there captive, dying and if she decides to drink that blood, she will turn and then she will become the very thing that Finn despises, so what happens next?" He added.
How will the siblings fend off Finn and keep Hope safe at the same time? With Rebekah's whereabouts still unknown to them, they have to decide on whether to bring Hope back to New Orleans or if someone else will have to take Rebekah's place.
Meanwhile, Rebekah is stuck in a new witch's body (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) but she's locked up in what Narducci calls a "cottage for wayward witches that is basically a prison."
Who will she meet there? Based on the trailer released, Harvest girl and Esther's first body, Cassie will be "filling her in on the rules." Whether they'll be friends or not is yet to be known.
