Good news Marvel fans as new updates and details for much anticipated Avengers sequel, Avengers: Age of Ultron have been revealed.
First of these is the identity of Paul Bettany's new character in Avengers 2, the Vision. Marvel fans have already known Paul Bettany as Iron Man's A.I. butler JARVIS, as he would eventually become the heroic synthezoid in movie. It is still unknown whether this version of Vision will be created by Ultron just like in the comics, or by Tony Stark in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
But a rumor that Vision in the movie is not JARVIS, and the Bettany's character is different. According to an an interview by Io9, Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr. said that Vision is "not" JARVIS at all.
"I could go out to dinner every night with Paul Bettany for the rest of my life. He is the most charming, funny, cool guy in the world. And his relationship to Vision, I can't really disclose too much. But I want to say that the way that Vision occurs is absolutely astonishing."
"And what I saw, because I was in close proximity to Bettany, everybody feels like they have a sense of him from playing JARVIS, and Vision isn't JARVIS. When you see what Bettany does with Vision, I think you're going to really dig it."
It certainly curious to see whether, RDJ is right about JARVIS not being Vision, and that fans would see Bettany play two seperate characters in the film.
There are also speculations that both Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers), and Doctor Stephen Strange will make a cameo in Avengers 2.
According to reports from Screenrant that several Marvel characters might show up in the film, and Carol Danvers is one of them. The movie website further adds that Carol might also appear in Captain America: Civil War.
As for Doctor Strange, ComicBook.com reports that Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) will appear in the movie, while the Inquistr claimed that he will debut in the third Captain America film, the same as Carol Danvers.
Finally, there are rumors and speculations that both Spider-Man, and Wolverine are headed into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
As for Wolverine, MoviePilot claimed that Wolverine himself, Hugh Jackman wanted Logan to join the MCU, even going as far as picking a fight with Mark Ruffalo's character the Incredible Hulk.
"I would love to see him as part of The Avengers because there's a great dysfunction among that team, and I think Wolverine would fit right into that. He'd like that."
"There's no doubt he'd get in a fight with Hulk at some point. Those two bad, rage-filled characters are going to square off at some point. It would be quite fun. I don't know how much fun to shoot it would be because I'm sure I'd be on the worst end of it, but hey, he can heal."
