Top actors Benedict Cumberbatch and Reese Witherspoon have been caught kissing-for a magazine short film!
The New York Times Magazine paired together 18 seemingly unconnected actors and actresses to act out different intimate scenes in a video feature called "9 Kisses."
One of the videos included the recently engaged "Sherlock" star and the "Wild" star to act as if they were secretly stealing away from a masquerade ball. Dressed as Zorro, Cumberbatch sweeps Witherspoon up in a steamy smooch against a gate.
They are interrupted when what looks like headlights shine on their shocked faces.
Benedict Cumerbatch and Reese Witherspoon aren't the only ones who shared surprising kisses for the magazine's series of short films.
"This year's best actors pair up in a series of intimate encounters," The New York Times Magazine described the interesting clips.
Jenny Slate was paired with Rosario Dawson, while Kristen Stewart locked lips with Chadwick Boseman.
Steve Carell and Laura Dern, Patricia Arquette and Jason Schwartzman, and David Oyelowo and Timothy Spall made such hilarious couples.
Jack O'Connell and Shailene Woodley, John Lithgow and Julianne Moore as well as Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Miles Teller also star in these series of one-minute clips.
Meanwhile, British star Benedict Cumberbatch will be marrying his real-life lover, Sophie Hunter, soon. Aside from getting engaged, he has also been very busy accepting roles for film, TV and even for theatre.
Reese Witherspoon, on the other hand, has been married to Jim Toth since 2011. She also received Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe best actress nominations for her new film, "Wild."
