Scott Stapp Not Placed Back In Psych Hold After Wife Calls 911: Creed Singer ‘Thinks He’s Being Trained By The CIA’ To Assassinate President Obama

Creed singer Scott Stapp had posted an alarming Facebook video in November stating that he was broke, but drug-free and that he was living out of his car.

However, it seems that Stapp remains troubled, evident from the 911 call that his wife, Jaclyn Stapp, made after Scott Stapp fled his home following his return from a 72-hour psych hold in Florida, according to the NY Daily News.

Scott Stapp's wife is heard telling the 911 dispatcher that the singer was "off of the drugs, going crazy, on a bike, not wearing a shirt," and carrying documents containing an assassination plot against President Obama, according to the National Post.

"He thinks he's part of the CIA, he thinks they're trying to kill him, and he has a bunch of paperwork in his backpack that he's a CIA agent and he's supposed to kill Obama," Jaclyn is heard saying in the audio that was released by TMZ.

She continued, "He thinks he's being trained by the CIA."

Doctors had reportedly recommended that Jaclyn Stapp and her sister call the police for help.

Aside from the documents, Scott Stapp was reportedly carrying tools, including "a wrench, screwdrivers, and lots of hard drives" in his backpacks.

Jaclyn Stapp reportedly noted that the singer suffers from paranoia-schizophrenia and has been in rehab 8 to 10 times.

"I've stood by him because we know he's ill. I love him," stated Jaclyn.

She added, "That's the only way he's going to stop is when he hits rock bottom."

When police eventually caught up to the singer, they reportedly determined that Scott was not unstable enough to be placed in another psych hold.

Stapp's son, 16-year-old Jagger, had taken to Twitter earlier this month to ask his father to get help.

"My dad is too busy posting songs on his FB hiding out for attention rather then getting his act together #dadstop. To all tho confused, my father once again chose drugs over his family. He needs help, but refuses to get it. He's been on a 9 week binge," tweeted the troubled singer's son.
