The popular SBS entertainment program 'Running Man' members Song Ji Hyo and Lee Kwang Soo hosted the Mnet Asian Music Award, which took place on December 3, 2014. A spokesperson from CJ, a company that hosted the music award, said the company decided to invite Song Ji Hyo and Lee Kwang Soo to host MAMA because of their high popularity across Asian countries through 'Running Man.'
At the Mnet Asian Music Award, which took place at Hong Kong Asia World Expo Arena on December 3, 2014, the fans of Running Man yelled Lee Kwang Soo and Song Ji Hyo's names. In China, the program has been remade as 'Run, Brother, which stars Deng Chao, Wang Ba O Chang, Wang Chu Lan, Chun Ga, Lee Chun, Jung Kai and Angela Baby and is co-produced by Zhejiang Satellite TV and SBS, South Korea's broadcast network. Majority of the staff members from the original SBS entertainment program "Running Man" participated in the making of the Chinese version of the show, "Run, Brother." In related news, the SBS entertainment program "Running Man" has been one of the oldest and widely popular weekend shows in Korea, along with "Infinite Challenge" and "1 Night 2 Days." The "Running Man" members, Yoo Jae Suk, Gary, Haha, Ji Suk Jin, Kim Jong Kook, Lee Kwang Soo and Song Ji Hyo, play missions with guests of the weekend. It airs every Sunday night.
