Nicole Kidman and and Keith Urban have been rumored to be having twins by surrogate but the report was quickly dashed by a friend of the couple.
A "family friend" of the "Before I Go To Sleep" actress talked to MailOnline Australia and slammed the rumors as "ridiculous" and "nonsense."
Nicole Kidman suffered a devastating loss recently when her beloved father died of heart attack in a Singapore hotel while visiting the 47-year-old's sister. A week after his death, the actress reportedly jetted off to Nashville to visit the surrogate mother carrying her twins.
The rumor about Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban having twins was first reported on Womans Day magazine.
The magazine reportedly talked to an insider who shared the news: "It's just the most amazing baby news ever. Nic and Keith have wanted more kids for a while now. And to think they could be having twins is a miracle!"
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban then reportedly turned to the same surrogate mother who delivered Faith in 2010. The unidentified woman then suggested potential candidates to carry their child.
The source added: "Nic feels comfortable with the surrogate they eventually chose. It was a difficult choice but they went with the one who seemed to have the more relaxed personality. They want the pregnancy to be as stress-free as possible for their babies and the woman carrying them."
The report also said that the Nicole Kidman was following the same pattern when she had youngest daughter Faith, 3.
"The 'Paddington' star's recent 'baby fever' follows the same pattern as with daughter Faith, 3," it said. "Though she didn't wait long to confirm her pregnancy with Sunday, 6, she tried to keep quiet waiting for their second child."
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have yet to respond to the rumors about having twins. Their respective reps also are silent on the issue.
