Will Josh Bowman and Emily VanCamp's relationship be in peril with his exit from the show? Meanwhile, the death of Daniel Grayson on "Revenge" is very timely as it ushers the show forward and give the character closure.
Talking to TVLine, Josh Bowman said: "We're on our fourth season, and this is a show where that can happen at anytime. I think it was a good decision for the story, and I think it'll definitely serve its purpose to help the writers move forward."
The actor added: "A death on this show can impact all the other characters; Daniel's will definitely have a big impact on Victoria, Emily - and Margaux, of course, because of our little baby on the way."
Executive producer Sunil Nayar told TVLine that the decision to kill off Daniel Grayson was also Josh Bowman's idea.
"Josh [Bowman] and I spoke at the beginning of the season about the journey we wanted to take Daniel on. He and I were on the same page, wanting to take a big swing at the end of our winter finale and wanting to see if we could do it in a redemptive way," he said.
While it was earlier speculated that Josh Bowman's exit from the show will give him more time to plan a marriage with real-life sweetheart Emily VanCamp, there's a hitch to that report: the actress is still as busy as ever, and he can't plan a wedding on his own.
"Revenge" season 4 casts Josh Bowman and Emily VanCamp relationship has been going on three years now and yet they have yet to announce when they are going to get married.
But it's not like Emily VanCamp doesn't want kids. In an interview with "The Meredith Vieira Show," she was asked if there are kids in the horizon and the actress, who plays Emily Thorne said, per Us Weekly: "Yes, absolutely, especially when your sisters are having babies you just want to jump on the bandwagon. But I'm just happy being an auntie right now."
