Tom Cruise and the rest of the cast have been spotted in several locations filming "Mission Impossible 5". He was seen jumping off the Vienna Opera House with a harness, driving fast in Morocco, and hanging outside an airbus over the English countryside.
The action keeps on coming but the full list of cast hasn't been revealed yet. We all know that Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames are back in the sequel. They will be joined by Rebecca Ferguson, Alec Baldwin, and Sean Harris. However, there are rumors that old cast members and new ones will join the team.
Paula Patton, who appeared in previous "Mission Impossible" movies, may return in the fifth installment. According to Fanshare, the 38-year old actress is now focusing on her acting career now that she has divorced Robin Thicke. The website also reported that she will reprise her role as Jane Carter in "Mission Impossible 5."
Until now, there's still no word if Paula Patton will be included in the cast. Just recently, Christopher McQuarrie teased his followers on Twitter when he posted a photo of a new character. He captioned the photo, "Guess who: #MI5Diary."
One Twitter user replied, "It's definitely Simon Pegg." Another follower commented, "Benji finally gets a mask!" In previous "Mission Impossible" movies, it was Tom Cruise's character Ethan Hunt who usually wears the mask. According to Cinema Blend, "Evidence suggests that this is actually Simon Pegg's Benji Dunn - who is evidently going to get his first chance to wear a mask in Mission: Impossible 5!"
If you take a look at the photo, you will notice the eyes resemble that of Simon Pegg. But he looked more of a villain so it is cool to see him disguise in the sequel. The website also reported that Pegg's character Benji Dunn really loves the high tech masks that the Impossible Mission Force employees use but he never got to use them. Now, we may finally see the British comedian wear the trademark mask in "Mission Impossible 5".
