In every "Final Fantasy" game, there is this one character that goes by the name Cid, who really has a thing for machinery. In Square Enix's new "Final Fantasy XV" trailer, that character will become part of the game once more. Only this time, it will be a female mechanic named Cidney.
According to "Final Fantasy XV" director Hajime Tabata, Cidney is not going to be a major character in the game's story. Nevertheless, her skills as a mechanic would still be useful with the car that has gained a lot of exposure in the trailers.
Aside from Cidney, the new "Final Fantasy XV" trailer has also featured new developments in the game. This includes a new fearsome giant summon called Titan, a vast open world the seamlessly connect with the towns that you visit, as well as party camping in the middle of an open field, which is a part of the game's leveling scheme.
Based on the trailer, there are many astonishing things in the game that has the feel of exploring an amazing world. This game is very distinct from the previous "Final Fantasy" titles, as it offers a seamless connection between towns, cities, and the entire game world. In the previous games, one could actually point out the difference between being in town or city and being in the open world exposed to a lot of monsters. Now, in the newest installment of the game, the towns, cities, and the game world are interconnected.
The new "Final Fantasy XV" trailer just came out during the Jump Festa 2015 Japanese convention held in Tokyo. The trailer is said to have filled a few more gaps since it is about to come out anytime soon. However, there's still no word on when this game will ship. Then again, Tabata said that they're already more than halfway to finishing the entire game, and would be available first on consoles.
