One fun part of dramas is the often-unannounced cameo appearance of actors.
"Pinocchio" has featured plenty of cameos, including a few by past members of Lee Jong Suk's previous hit "I Hear Your Voice." Yoon Sang Hyun plays a lawyer and Jung Woong In plays a serial killer much like they did in that previous drama. Only this time Lee Jong Suk is not helping Yoon Sang Hyun's team win the case and Jung Woong In only appears in Park Shin Hye's nightmare. Lee Bo Young is taking a break from acting due to her pregnancy, but her voice was also used in an early episode. There are several other cameo performances in "Pinocchio" including appearances by actors Ahn Sun Young and Choi Jong Hoon.
A fun cameo can make an already entertaining drama even more fun. Here are a few more of our favorite cameos:
Yoon Eun Hye is Lee Min Ho's ex-girlfriend in "Personal Taste." Son Ye Jin is made jealous by the sudden appearance of Lee Min Ho's college love. She's the woman who supposedly ruined women for him. And the character is played by none other than the beautiful Yoon Eun Hye. Fortunately, he is over her.
Son Ye Jin herself does a cameo in "Secret Garden." She's the beautiful actress at the end of the drama that meets Philip Lee's character. It's a happy reprieve for his character. He can't have Ha Ji Won's character but it looks like he can have success and more than a smile from Son Ye Jin.
Park Shin Hye appeared in the Lee Seung Gi fantasy drama "My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho." She played Lee Seung Gi's high school classmate. When she ran into him on a bus, she made his gumiho girlfriend, played by Shin Min Ah, jealous. And you don't want to make a gumiho jealous.
Lee Seung Gi had a cameo in the Hong Sisters' drama "The Greatest Love." He played himself. That was interesting because he was originally rumored to be the chosen lead for the drama, which eventually starred Cha Seung Won.
"Greatest Love" star Gong Hyo Jin had a cameo, playing a record store clerk in "Flower Boy Ramen Shop." It's the scene where both Jung Il Woo and Lee Ki Woo ask about a song but can only hum a few bars. Her character obviously can't help them identify the song, as she is not a psychic. She is, however, charming.
CNBLue's Jung Yong Hwa and Lee Jong Hyun both had cameos in "Gentleman's Dignity." Jung Yong Hwa played himself and a former student of Kim Ha Neul's. Lee Jong Hyun played a student returning to Korea to look for his father, who might be one of the show's main characters, played by Jang Dong Gun, Kim Suro, Kim Min Jong and Lee Jong Hyuk.
A popular recent cameo was Gary Kang's appearance on the drama "Emergency Couple." The Leessang singer played a cab driver and interacted with his "Running Man" co-star and "girlfriend" Song Ji Hyo. She played an emergency room doctor divorced from Choi Jin Hyuk's character.
