Instagram’s nipple policy has caused quite a bit of controversy while celebrities, including Scout Willis, have fought against it by posting topless photos of themselves.
Although Instagram has kept to their nipple policy, Chelsea Handler and Miley Cyrus are two of the many people who will fight against the controversial rule, which many have called a violation of the First Amendment, according to Modvive.
Along with Miley Cryus’ topless Instagram photo, which shows her exposing her nipples, the singer added the caption, “Some lame a** deff gonna flag that but f**** it.”
This isn’t the first time that Chelsea Handler has shown that she simply doesn’t care about Instagram’s nipple policy. This past October, Handler reportedly posted a picture of herself riding topless on a horse to imitate Vladimir Putin’s famous topless, horseback photo, according to E! News.
Instagram reportedly removed the photo three different times.
“Taking this down is sexist. I have every right to prove I have a better body than Putin. If a man posts a photo of his nipple, it’s ok, but not a woman? Are we in 1925? If Instagram takes this down again, you’re saying Vladimir Putin has more 1st amendment rights than me. Talk to your bosses,” wrote the comedian.
Both topless photos have since been removed from Instagram.
