The “Modern Family” star and the “True Blood” actor had reportedly sparked rumors that they were engaged after Sofia Vergara was spotted wearing a $640 rose ring that was purchased by none other than Joe Manganiello, according to E! News. The two were most recently photographed on vacation together in Hawaii for Manganeillo’s 38th birthday, according to ABC News.

Vergara had reportedly been Joe Manganiello’s dream woman for quite some time, as he had previously told People magazine that the 42-year-old actress was his “celeb crush.”

“I had forgotten I had said that,” Manganiello told Ryan Seacrest back in August.

He added, “And when the magazine came out, by that time, we were seeing each other and when I got the magazine and opened it up and read it, I forgot I said that. I started laughing.”

Vergara reportedly thought it was quite funny as well.

“She was laughing at me,” revealed Manganiello.

He added, “She thought that I was crazy for having said that out loud or said it in the magazine, but you know, I guess it worked.”

Vergara had previously been engaged to Onion Crunch founder Nick Loeb before she began dating Manganiello. The couple reportedly split due to work commitment and time apart, according to Vergara’s WhoSay page.

Manganiello reportedly popped the question to Vergara on Christmas day, according to a source.

“I’ve never seen two people so truly in love. The way they talk to each other, touch each other. It’s incredible,” stated the source.
