Vin Diesel was most recently the voice of Groot, the walking tree in “Guardians of the Galaxy,” and it seems that he might have been cast in another Marvel movie.
The 47-year-old actor posted a photo of himself wearing an “Inhumans” shirt in front of the background “Are you Inhuman?,” prompting fans to believe that he’s been cast in the upcoming Marvel movie.
Marvel reportedly had always planned to have Vin Diesel star in a movie that used more than just his voice, according to the NY Daily News.
“He has a very vocal fan base on Facebook and they started creating this grassroots groundswell of, ‘What are Vin and Marvel going to do?,’” Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige stated before the release of “Guardians of the Galaxy.”
He added, “While most of our conversations were longer lead and further out, this notion of we’re looking for a voice for this character, it wouldn’t be a whole lot of work.”
There is speculation that Vin Diesel will be taking on the role of Black Bolt, but nothing has been confirmed, according to USA Today.
Marvel’s “Inhumans” movie is reportedly set to hit theaters on November 2, 2018.
