Jeremy Renner and wife Sonni Pacheco married secretly 10 months ago.
The Canadian model is now reportedly seeking a divorce from the “Avengers” actor, citing irreconcilable differences, according to TMZ.
Pacheco is reportedly asking that Jeremy Renner return her allegedly stolen passport, birth certificate and Social Security card, according to USA Today. Sonni Pacheco is reportedly claiming that her prenuptial agreement with Jeremy Renner should be voided because of “fraud,” although it wasn’t specified about why or how he was fraudulent.
Renner’s soon to be ex-wife is reportedly asking for spousal support and physical custody of their 21-month old daughter Ava Berlin and wants Renner to cover the costs of moving out, according to Global News.
Renner had reportedly only publicly acknowledged his marriage in September in an attempt to protect his wife’s privacy after the two got married. The couple reportedly met on the set of 2011’s “Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol” where 23-year-old Pacheco worked as a stand-in.
A custody battle is reportedly expected to be a part of the divorce.
“The only thing I think about when I’m not with my baby is, How do I get to my baby? I need to get to her, and I’m very miserable when I don’t see her,” the 43-year-old actor stated in January.
He added, “The only thing that has changed is my perspective on things. I still work, probably even more. It used to be for myself so I’m not old and broke. All these things I still do, but I do it now for the future of my baby, and if it gets in the way of her well-being, then I stop.”
