Good news Transformer fans as new updates for next installment of the franchise, Transformers 5 have been revealed.
We start things of with Mark Wahlberg returning to Transformers 5 after rumors and speculations that he won't be joining the movie. This all started with Venture Capital Post reporting before that Mark Wahlberg will possible leave the movie franchise after reports of Michael Bay leaving the project.
But in an interview conducted by MTV, Walhberg confirmed he will stay for the Transformers film franchise and also hint that production will start soon.
"Yeah, I committed to doing a couple more ... you know I can't speak for Mr. Bay, but something tells me we'll be on the set soon."
Optimus Prime's voice actor Peter Cullen also voice his opinion of having Michael Bay back as the director in the sequel in a report from Christian Today.
"I have a great deal of respect for him. He generates a great deal of excitement and energy. He's really a hands-on director. My son is a stunt man and worked in Chicago doing a lot of the driving sequences ... he said he's a very, very diligent, hands-on guy. He creates a great deal of energy and puts everybody on their toes. I would certainly miss him. I think he's brilliant, his mind is unbelievable"
That's not all, there have been rumors that two new actors are in talks of joining Transformers 5.
"I don't think they run out of stories yet. I think later on that's a possibility but I don't think in the near future at all. It's not something we talked about either. You know, there's a lot more story to be told in both cases."
"I think if in some moment we all think, 'You know what, it's time to bring the two of them together' then we'll do that, but I think they're strong enough to exist on their own."
So far, their are no confirmations yet regarding their participation in the film.
Lastly, new Autobots and Decepticons are added in the movie as Comic Central City reports that Ultra Magnus, Red Alert, and Override are the new Autobots to join Optimus Prime, while Cyclonus, Scourge, and Blitzwing are Galvatron's new lieutenants for the Decepticons.
