Microsoft has responded to the rumors that the Halo 5 release date is going to be delayed to 2016.
343 Industries have released the Halo 5 beta on the Xbox One and it sports a lot of new features that players may or may not like and because of the beta, players are now wondering how would 343 Industries and Microsoft respond to the feedback of the beta testers of Halo 5.
Previously, we have reported that it has been rumored that the Halo 5 release date to 2016 to avoid issues that plagued the Halo: Master Chief Collection at launch. The delay would allow 343 Industries to polish the game and fix the bugs that would appear on the game.
It should be noted that the Halo: Master Chief Collection suffered a lot of issues in matchmaking and the online features in general and it seems like 343 Industries would like to avoid this with Halo 5 by delaying it's release date.
Microsoft has told Gamespot that:
"The recent rumors regarding the release date of Halo 5: Guardians are false," a Microsoft representative said, debunking the rumor that the Halo 5 release date has been delayed to 2016.
Microsoft and 343 Industries clarified that the Halo 5 release date is still set for Fall 2015 and no specific date has been set as of now.
