It's a hot and cold affair for Barry Allen as two villains team up to bring down the speedster in the new spoilers for episode 10 of "The Flash. Meanwhile, somebody close to the red blur will get kidnapped unless he shows up to a fight.

According to the synopsis, Leonard Snart or Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) will team up with Mick Rory AKA Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell) to try to bring down the Flash. Interestingly, this isn't the first team-up for Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell as the two actors played brothers in "Prison Break" which ran from 2005-2009.

"Snart and Mick kidnap someone close to The Flash and threaten to kill them unless The Flash shows up for a battle of fire and ice. Barry tells Joe (Jesse L. Martin) he isn't sure he should take on Snart again after the casualties that happened the last time they fought," said the synopsis from Bam Smack Pow.

"Meanwhile, Barry asks Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) to help him double his training efforts so he's ready for the Reverse Flash when he returns to Central City," description of "The Flash" episode 10 added.

Barry Allen received a beatdown from Reverse Flash, who was responsible for the death of his mother, due to the fact that he's still learning what his capable of doing.

For her part Iris (Candice Patton), will deal with the aftermath of Barry Allen's confession, while Cisco makes the CCPD a new shield.

This particular episode is directed by Nick Ropus and written by Geoff Johns and Kai Yu Wu.
