Stephen Fry made his Twitter followers very happy this morning.
The 57-year-old actor reportedly confirmed his engagement to 27-year-old Elliott Spencer on Twitter on Tuesday, according to E! News.

Months before his Twitter announcement, Stephen Fry had been seen regularly with Spencer, a writer, according to the U.K.’s The Telegraph. A source reportedly told the Sun that Spencer had given Fry a “new lust for life” after suffering from depression.
“He has found new hope in Elliot and they thrive off one another,” stated the Fry.
Spencer’s father is reportedly very happy for both his son and Fry.
“We are obviously very happy. We are over the moon, that is all I want to say,” stated 57-year-old Robert Spencer near his Southampton home.
Details of the couple’s wedding have reportedly yet to be set.
“Stephen Fry is very happy and proud to say that he has set the wheels in motion for a wedding sometime in the future but no date has been set due to a busy work schedule,” explained Fry’s personal assistant.
