Keshia Knight Pulliam was fired from “The Celebrity Apprentice” after just one episode because she refused to call Bill Cosby to help her team.
The former “Cosby Show” star made an appearance on both “Today” and “The Wendy Williams Show” on January 5 and showed her support for Bill Cosby, who has been accused of sexually assaulting multiple women.
“Honestly, that’s not the man I know,” Pulliam stated to Williams, according to Entertainment Weekly.
She added, “I hope that people won’t allow allegations, because again none of us were there, there are two sides to a story. It’s a horrible situation no matter however you slice it. But I feel that once the dust settles that people recognize how much he’s given to our society with his work. You can’t take that away.”
The former actress continued to show support for Bill Cosby during her appearance on the “Today” show.
“I wasn’t there, no one was there, except for the two people to know exactly what happened. All I can speak to is the man I know and I love,” explained Pulliam.
Two more women have reportedly joined the defamation lawsuit that has been made against Bill Cosby, according to CNN. Linda Traitz, one of the women who have accused the 77-year-old comedian of sexual assault, reportedly told the news outlet that she and fellow accuser Therese Serignese are joining the suit, which was originally filed by Tamara Green.
Cosby’s attorney, Martin Singer, has reportedly called the sexual assault accusations made against the comedian “ridiculous.”
He reportedly told CNN that it makes no sense that “so many people who have said nothing, done nothing, and made no reports to law enforcement or asserted civil claims if they thought they had been assaulted over a span of so many years.”
