"Star Wars Episode 7" news and rumors hint of more action as the stars of "The Raid 2," which has developed a huge cult following, have reportedly joined the cast. Meanwhile, director JJ Abrams admitted to feeling the pressure of making a good impression.

In a report from Twitch Film, Indonesians Iko Uwais, Yayan Ruhian and Cecep Arif Rahman reportedly jumped on board the film.

The article claimed that there are no details yet regarding their characters, whether they are with the dark side or light side of the force, but it does say something about JJ Abrams' new film.

"After the underwhelming prequel trilogy with its massive over-reliance on CGI trickery not only has Abrams shown a strong preference for practical effects but has now also cast a trio of highly skilled martial artists who have already demonstrated their skills with blades, batons, etc in a world where super powered warriors fight with blades, batons, etc.," it said.

Directed by Gareth Evans, "The Raid 2" was the sequel to the 2011 film "The Raid." The 2014 film, on limited release, earned $2,627,209 in the domestic box-office, which should surpass the $4,105,187 netted in the first film.

In other "Star Wars Episode 7" news from Cinema Blend, one member of "The Raid 2" was tapped to become a consultant for "The Force Awakens." The identity of the consultant, however, was never revealed.

Meanwhile, JJ Abrams admitted to feeling the pressure of helming the most anticipated movie of this year.

"It is, without question, an intense and terrifying prospect. The opportunity, I think, is greater than the fear, greater than the risk. I'm more excited about the work that everyone has done in the movie and this incredible cast," he said according to Screen Crush.

Watch out for more "Star Wars Episode 7" news and rumors which will be published ahead the threater release in December 2015.
