Netflix is expected to dominate the world of television in 2015.
Netflix can now add "Wet Hot American Summer" to its growing list of original shows for the new year.
"It's true, camp is back in session. #WetHotAmericanSummer will return for 8 all new episodes," Netflix's official Twitter wrote to followers on Friday night.
Even better news follows as Deadline has reported that nearly the entire original cast will reportedly be returning for the eight-episode series as filming is set to begin this week. Comedians that had cameo roles, Judah Friedlander, who took on the role of Shannon's ex-husband, and H. Jon Benjamin, who lent his voice to a can of mixed vegetables, are expected to return as well, according to Rolling Stone.
The original stars of "Wet Hot American Summer" have reportedly already started to express their excitement via Twitter.
"I hope Abby Bernstein's still waiting for me," tweeted Ken Marino, who played horny camp counselor Victor Pulak.
Joe Lo Truglio added, "It's on like Donkey Kong bc Donkey Kong happened in 1981, just like this movie."
The revival of "Wet Hot American Summer" isn't the only show to look forward to in 2015.
