New exciting Uncharted 4 developments started circulating the net.
The highly anticipated 4th and last installment from Naughty Dog was previously reported to have outstanding gameplays and awesome visuals. But as new reports suggested, the game will deliver more than that as it is equally backed by a very interesting plot.
According to International Business Times, the game will take place 3 years after the last Uncharted game. Drake was reportedly living a normal and peaceful life with his young family for once, until Sam, the brother he thought was dead, paid him a visit.
"Sam appears and is in need of Drake. Sam's life depends on him finding an artefact from Henry Avery, a certain benefactor. Drake feels indebted to his brother, although he can't resist getting back on the treasure hunting tracks of the past. There on, the story takes Drake and Sam to Libertalia which is 'a mythic Madagascar colony purportedly founded by pirates,'" the article said.
The site also explained that unlike previous Uncharted games, Uncharted 4 will veer away from the linear approach to "break away from the usual norm and introduce multiple paths."
Meanwhile despite this development, Naughty Dog has still yet to announce the Uncharted 4 release date for PS4.
The 4th and last installment has been previously rumored to have a July 2015 release date, but Brett Helwani of GameNow has reported that the Sony hackers have uncovered documents alleging that the Uncharted 4 release date is set for October 2015.
With new Uncharted 4 rumors circulating, Sony Computer Entertainment Australia and New Zealand Managing Director Michael Ephraim still play coy when asked about any release date updates.
"We don't know, that's the honest answer. We're very excited about it and I think that title will be massive. It's a very popular franchise; in fact it's our number one first-party franchise," he told Stevivor.
The only thing both execs can guarantee as of the moment is that the game will be the highlight of their year.
