The latest news about Joan Rivers revolves around the investigation over leakers of the late "Fashion Police" host's 911 information.

According to the news report from New York Daily News, city officials from FDNY are investigating Emergency Medical Services (EMS) workers who attended to the late Joan Rivers' 911 call last August.

Around a dozen personnel were asked after they allegedly accessed emergency records related to the fatal Yorkville Endoscopy throat procedure. The botched operation at the said Upper East Side clinic led to Joan Rivers' death last September 4.

The report said that several EMS workers probably just got curious and accessed the TV star's 911 information. However, FDNY officials are investigating if some personnel purposely intended to leak confidential information to media who are covering Joan Rivers news.

The EMS employees who are being investigated are reportedly from Division 3 in Brooklyn and Division 5 on Staten Island, the New York Daily News said.

FDNY is keen on tracing the leakers of Joan Rivers 911 details to news outlets, especially since each user needs an electronic signature to access the said files.

EMS workers who are under investigation reportedly range from high-rank officials to rank-and-file employees.

If found guilty of leaking 911 information related to Joan Rivers' death to news publications, EMS officials will be slammed with a violation against the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, known as HIPAA.

Aside from the EMS probing, an investigation is also ongoing against Yorkvillle Endoscopy.

According to a report from Page Six, an investigation has shown that two specialists of Yorkville Endoscopy - now ex-medical director Dr. Lawrence Cohen, and celebrity ENT Dr. Gwen Korovin - did not stop the scoping procedure even after the late comedienne's pulse and blood pressure dropped.

"(Joan Rivers) had no heartbeat, no pulse, (and) wasn't breathing when (EMS) arrived at Yorkville Endoscopy," an insider said.
