Gwyneth Paltrow gave her seal of approval to ex-husband Chris Martin's relationship with Jennifer Lawrence as the GOOP founder said that it's not an issue for her and the kids.
In an interview with Howard Stern, Gwyneth Paltrow weighed in on the relationships of Chris Martin with other women, the most recent being "Hunger Games" star Jennifer Lawrence.
"Who says I don't approve? Why not? Why is it going to be an issue? I respect him as the father of my children. It's his life and it's his decision and I do think that he loves the kids so much, and I don't think that he would be with someone that wasn't great. And if I'm wrong, I'll come back here and I'll tell you," she said.
But Gwyneth Paltrow also said that it didn't matter if Chris Martin was linked to people other than Jennifer Lawrence. Howard Stern gave some examples like Rihanna, whom the "Iron Man" actress described as cool, to Lindsay Lohan.
"There's redemption, people get their acts together," Gwyneth Paltrow said.
The "Mortdecai" actress gushed about her ex to Howard Stern.
"He's lovely. He's such a sweetheart. We actually have a really strong friendship, and we laugh and we have fun," she said. "There are times when it's really difficult, and things happen, and I'm sure he doesn't want to hang out with me, and I don't want to hang out with him, but for the sake of the kids you do it, but you also don't do it all tense."
Gwyneth Paltrow and ex-husband Chris Martin were spending so much time together during the Christmas holidays that it sparked rumors they are reuniting, particularly after reports that he broke up with Jennifer Lawrence. However, during the New Year, the Coldplay frontman and the "Hunger Games" star were seen on a date.
