Are Castle and Beckett going to deal with a very special case in outer space in "Castle" season 7? New reports suggest that is likely true!

As TV Line reported, "So much has already been spilled about the February sweeps event, you instead get this: Matt Mitovich chatted up Stana Katic at HBO's Golden Globes party, and she teased that Rick and Kate are "going to Mars," as they (separately?) work a case involving "Mars, spacesuits and space travel." The episode's ominous title? "The Wrong Stuff." #MarsNeedsCaskett."

As if the latest episode showing Castle in a different working environment was not enough, now the lovebirds will be set to go on a space mission. That would really be an interesting episode for fans of the hit TV show.

However, the question on every die-hard "Castle" fan remains- why do they have to breakup Beckett and Castle's team-up?

Showrunner David Amman dished on Castle's new job in an interview with TV Guide."We thought it would give us some opportunities to upset the apple cart a little bit in terms of the Castle-Beckett professional relationship," he said. "We were looking for an interesting way to have Castle get into trouble. He kind of operated outside the lines in Episode 10, so we felt that like it was justified that he would be punished for that."

Meanwhile, Stana Katic who plays Beckett on the show indulged fans to a little Twitter Q&A. According to International Business Times,Stana Katic asked the fans on Twitter if they are enjoying the current season.

"Enjoying (Castle) s7? We wrap up 713 & start 714 tomorrow,' the actress tweeted, encouraging the fans to respond. The series was taking a 5-week break, so fans were eager to raise their questions," the article said.

"One fan asked if Castle Season 7 Episodes 13 and 14 make up a 2-parter special. Stana gave an affirmative response. Another fan asked how many episodes are there this season. Stana said 23."

"Castle" season 7 airs every Monday night on ABC.
