He's known for the brooding yet dangerous Jon Snow in the "Game of Thrones," but Kit Harington showed a much more sensual side in the 2015 spring campaign for Jimmy Choo.
According to the label's website, the Jimmy Choo man is "unburdened, free from the constraints of formality, he is an urban adventurer, exhilarated by the prospect of broadening his cultural horizons."
In choosing "Game of Thrones" cast Kit Harington, Jimmy Choo creative director Sandra Choi said that "he has a natural and alluring masculinity and an effortless sense of style. His cool attitude and smoldering sensuality belie a true British gentleman."
Earlier, the British actor released a statement after it was announced that he's going to be the face of Jimmy Choo's 2015 spring summer campaign: "I was very excited to be chosen as the face for such a highly regarded brand and to play a role in defining who the Jimmy Choo man is. It was a fun shoot and a great experience working with Steven Klein."
Meanwhile, Various news outlets couldn't help but juxtapose the Kit Harington in the Jimmy Choo ad with his character Jon Snow in "The Game of Thrones."
Although Jon Snow might favor warmth over fashion for his 'Game of Thrones' footwear," said NY Post. "Kit Harington - who portrays Snow on the HBO show - is all about Jimmy Choo in the brand's spring 2015 campaign."
Tyler McCall of Fashionista noted: "Kit Harington, Professional BrooderTM and the second best thing about 'Game of Thrones' (behind Natalie Dormer, duh), is on his second season as the face of the Jimmy Choo's men's line, and he's just as hot as ever."
But he said there's one thing the Jimmy Choo spring summer campaign featuring "Game of Thrones" cast Kit Harington is missing: "The one thing these ads need: 100% more abs."
