Is Apple launching the iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 in one event?

Just months after the release of the iPhone 6, the internet is abuzz about the newest iPhones' rumored launch this year. It still remains unclear whether the tech giant will indeed release two new phones this year, but according to International Business Times, "The release date of the iPhone 7 is expected to fall on the second Tuesday of September 2015 and the iPhone 6s in spring along with Apple Watch, according to a report by Stabley Times. It contradicts earlier reports Apple's next-generation smartphone would be unveiled in spring this year."

Apart from the iPhone 6s and iPhone 7 release date rumors, specs rumors also continue to spread like wildfire online.

As The Fuse Jopelin reported, "The iPhone 7 is expected to bet bigger and crazier, with its latest features set to include a much larger screen than the iPhone 6 Plus' 5.5 inches. Not just the screen is expected to be bigger, however; the general phone specs are rumored to be bigger than any other Apple phone and in this line, the iPhone 7 will come with a sapphire screen like the one on Apple's Watch that will also include the integrated Touch ID technology."

"This means that users of the iPhone 7 will no longer have the traditional home button. Further rumors suggest that the latest flagship from Apple will come with a retina sensor to be used when unlocking the device," the site continued.

Meanwhile, International Business Times reported that "according to iPhone7update website, the device would be powered by A8 processor, have 256GB or more internal memory, screen protected by sapphire crystal glass, chassis made of liquid metal and feature a 14mp main camera and 4mp front snapper. It is also reported that the iPhone 7 would come with A9 processor and camera capable of taking high-quality pictures."
