Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence went for Italian on a date night at the Madeo in West Hollywood on Thursday evening, following Gwyneth Paltrow's revealing interview regarding her ex-husband.

According to E!, the former couple "enjoyed a romantic Italian dinner"

"The two were very sweet with each other. They kept under the radar at their cozy, candle-lit table," the source said.

Gwyneth Paltrow seems to be comfortable with the Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence relationship as she said during an interview with Howard Stern.

"Who says I don't approve? Why not? Why is it going to be an issue? I respect him as the father of my children. It's his life and it's his decision and I do think that he loves the kids so much, and I don't think that he would be with someone that wasn't great. And if I'm wrong, I'll come back here and I'll tell you," Gwyneth Paltrow said.

In an interview with Harpers Bazaar, the actress weighed on in her relationship with her ex and about being open minded if the partner has had an affair.

"The older I get, the more open-minded I get, the less judgmental I get. "I have friends who I love and admire who have had an affair. When I was younger, I would have said, 'He's a terrible person' or 'She's a terrible person.' But who made these laws?" she said.

Gwyneth Paltrow also described her "conscious uncoupling" with Chris Martin as always a "moving and amorphous" thing.

"Of course, there are times when I think it would have been better if we had stayed married, which is always what your children want," she added. "But we have been able to solidify this friendship, so that we're really close."

Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence have reportedly split after three months and although the reasons for the breakup remains unclear, rumors talked about their busy schedules and Gwyneth Paltrow always meddling in their relationship.
