Good news Marvel fans as new updates for the Amazing Spider-Man 3 movie have been revealed online.
We first start off with the movie's release date, as reports from Christian Today claim that the Amazing Spider-Man 3 movie will launch some time on 2018. Sony originally slated Spidey 3 on 2016, while the fourth installment is set on 2018. But due to the negative feedback on the Spidey 3's release date, Sony had no choice but move the project on the said date. In other words, fans will just have to wait 3 years to see that movie.
With the rumors of Spider-Man being moved into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and possibly appearing in Avengers: Infinity War, no wonder Sony had a hard time putting the movie's release date, not to mention the production time, casting, and editing. It was rumored before, that the plot of The Amazing Spider-Man 3 will be based on the popular Spider-Man storyline "The Clone Saga" in which Spidey has to deal with clones of himself, and his dead girlfriend, Gwen Stacy.
Emma Stone teased before that Gwen Stacy might comeback in the movie during an interview with Screenrant last year. This could be possible since the the comics brought her back to life as clone, and we would like to point out that Peter's father is suspiciously alive during the deleted scene in the Amazing Spider-Man 2 movie. Perhaps, he's a clone in the third movie as well? We'll just have to wait for Sony's response about the movie soon.
In other news, it seems that the Sinister Six movie is in the works as ComicBook.com reports that the Facebook page of Sony Pictures teased a photo of the super villain film.
The photo features the robot tentacles of Doctor Octopus, and the wing harness of The Vulture. Two villains that are going to be a part of movie along with Green Goblin, Rhino, Kraven the Hunter, and Black Cat.
The Christian Today reports that Sinister Six movie spin-off is expected to launch on November 11, 2016. The website also reported that Paul Giamatti and Dane DeHaan are already on board in the movie, and Felicity Jones commented that their have been "no plans" yet for her character in the Spidey movies, as reported by flickeringmyth.com.
