No one can deny that Kim Kardashian is a selfie queen.
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star has reportedly revealed that she is responsible for the selfie craze that has spread quite quickly the past couple years, according to HollywoodLife.
Kim Kardashian is reportedly claiming ownership in her new book “Selfie,” which is due out in May, according to The Inquisitr. In the book, Kardashian reportedly reveals that she was obsessed with taking pictures of herself since she was much younger, long before the days of Instagram and Twitter.
“I took pictures of myself with digital cameras when I was in junior high and high school, and I just got hooked,” the mother-of-one reportedly revealed.
She added, “I was always obsessed with selfies.”
Although Kim Kardashian may be the star of her new book, her husband, Kanye West is reportedly behind the entire idea, according to TMZ. Kardashian had gotten the world familiar with selfies of all kinds, including butt selfies.
Kardashian has also received her fair share of criticism for her Instagram selfies. The reality television star was reportedly most recently criticized for cropping her daughter, North West, out of a selfie.
“Seriously, you can’t even let your own child in a picture with you #selfishness,” one of Kardashian’s 23 million followers commented.
Despite the criticism she received, Kardashian had an explanation that she believed was valid at the time.
“Wait is this really news that I posted a selfie & cropped my daughter out? LOL Her eyes were closed and I was feeling my look! Can I Live?!?!,” wrote the 34-year-old.
