Many Marvel fans were excited to see the Vision in the latest "Avengers: Age of Ultron" trailer, but Paul Bettany's character didn't appear in the footage. We saw three new characters in the video including Andy Serkis who is rumored to portray Ulysses Klaw.

Just recently, Schmoes Know confirmed that the "Lord of the Rings" actor will indeed play the supervillain. Two female characters also appeared in the new trailer and their identities still remain a mystery. Another Marvel superhero that got many people curious is the Vision because until now, not much is revealed about him.

There were photos of the promo art that leaked online; and one image showed a split face of Vision and Ultron. That could be a hint that there will be a connection between the two characters. Another leaked photo revealed the origin of Paul Bettany's character.

"Programmed by the combined geniuses of Tony Stark & Bruce Banner and imparted with the ability to fly, project intense energy beams and change the density of his form, the Vision has proved himself a worthy hero, aiding the Avengers in their struggle against the evil A.I. Ultron," Slash Film reported.

No wonder Paul Bettany tried to keep quiet about his character in the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" because he could be the key to Ultron's death. During an interview with the Collider, the 43-year old actor admitted how important it was for him to keep the origin of the Vision.

"I can tell you that I've kept it a secret for about three years." Bettany added, "I've known that this was going to happen and I'm not about to give the game away right now because we've managed to keep it really under wraps. There are only a few images out there but it's... It's pretty grand," he said.

In a separate interview with Radio Times, Paul Bettany revealed how huge the sequel is.

"This is the biggest thing Marvel have ever done." He added, "It was enormous. I remember, we were at Comic-con, and they showed a portion of the footage, and I was just gobsmacked. And I looked down the row and every one of the Avengers was the same," the British hearthob said.

Maybe we will feel the same when we see "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" on May 1, 2015.
