Tekken 7 is coming to the PS4 and Xbox One but the PC version is still being decided on by Bandai Namco if the reports and rumors are to be believed.
Bandai Namco and the rest of the Tekken 7 development team have been releasing quite a lot of information regarding Tekken 7 but they've been relatively quiet about the console versions of the game, until now.
Cyberland reported that an alleged Bandai Namco representative stated that the Tekken 7 dev team is busy working on the arcade version of Tekken 7 but development of the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game would begin soon.
The report also states that the alleged Bandai Namco representative said that the game would run on 1080p 60fps for both platforms and that the PC version is in consideration but nothing is sure yet.
Previously, when asked about whether or not Tekken 7 is going to be on PC, Harada replied that Tekken is not being developed for the PC but for the PS4:
"Don't rush me. Tekken is not development by PC base. It's Develop by Playstation Native. also we don't have Tekken community on PC now. This response drew a lot of comments from Tekken fans wanting a PC release. Most of the comments are "How can there be Tekken PC community when there are no Tekken games on the PC?" or similar.
While Katsuhiro Harada believes that Tekken being on the PC is a "cool" idea, he believes that the game will not be received by the PC community because there is no Tekken community for the PC.
"Personally, It's cool. That's all. RT@AkatsukiSasori but Harada-San, what's your opinion about Tekken games in PC?" The question is why isn't Tekken coming to PC? The reason why there is no Tekken PC is because according to Katsuhiro Harada, there is no Tekken community on PC.
But it seems that Katsuhiro Harada has had enough of talking about Tekken being on PC by saying he is a pc gamer and just blatantly mocks the users asking for Tekken PC ports.
"I said I'm high-end PC gamer and ancient Steam user million times. Stop asking "Waaaa! PC PC Waa mama!!". Play PAYDAY2 or sleep well kids!"
