'Shine Or Go Crazy" reached first place in the Nielsen ratings during its fourth episode. The drama rated at 12.7 percent, edging "Punch out of first place.

"Shine Or Go Crazy" stars Jang Hyuk as the cursed Koryeo-era prince Wang Soo and Oh Yeon Seo as his love interest, the Balhae princess Shin Yool. They are both the innocent victims of prophecies. In his case, he is kicked out of the palace because it is foretold that he will cause bloodshed in his kingdom. The princess narrowly escapes death as a newborn because it was foretold that her destiny would be brighter than that of her own country.

Fortunately she is saved and raised in secret. She sometimes likes to dress as a man so she can go trading. That leads to a case of gender confusion in which the wandering Wang Soo is not sure why he finds his young male friend so appealing. Despite his isolated life away from court and her protected secret identity, the never-ending intrigues of the palace seem set to upend both their lives.

"Shine Or Go Crazy" also stars Lee Honey as Princess Hwang Bo Yeo Won.

"Punch," starring Kim Rae Won, Kim Ah Joong and Cho Jae Hyun, settled into second place this week with ratings of 12.2 percent. Kim Rae Won plays the chief of an anti-corruption investigation team. He has had to make compromises in his career and they are not easy to live with. However, when he finds out he has a malignant brain tumor, he decides to pursue justice, whatever the cost.

Kim Ah Joong plays his prosecutor ex-wife. Cho Jae Hyun plays the corrupt prosecutor they want to bring to justice.

The drama has so far done well in the ratings, with ratings as high as 12.3 percent, so "Punch" could easily take first place back next week.

The third drama in the competition is "Healer" starring Ji Chang Wook and Park Min Young. Ji Chang Wook plays the mysterious Healer and Park Min Young plays the reporter that discovers his secret identity. By this point in the plot, they have become lovers and are working together to uncover decades of secrets that will ultimately reveal the traumatic history that shaped their lives.

The drama, which also stars Yoo Ji Tae, rated 8.9 percent. "Healer" had its highest ratings at 10.3 percent.
