Mark Ruffalo had some choice words to say about Benedict Cumberbatch being Dr Strange. Would this lead to a team up in the film?
Ruffalo, who played Hulk in "The Avengers", doesn't know the "Sherlock Holmes" star well. "I don't know him very well yet," he said during an interview at the night of Golden Globes red carpet.
"But he's really good. He's not doing so bad," the "Begin Again" actor continued.
However, it is not sure yet whether the two actors will be working together for the Marvel. It was rumored that Hulk might not be appearing in the "Avengers 3", as well as Captain America and Thor, and that Doctor Strange might be introduced in the superhero team film. This means that the two might not have the chance to work together for the said project, given that Ruffalo would still be playing the Bruce-Banner alter ego in the future.
But let's see, until we see the fate of Hulk in the "Avengers 2: Age of Ultron", we will not know if Ruffalo and Cumberbatch has the chance to get to know each other well.
Meanwhile, Ethan Hawke, who was once rumored to play Doctor Strange, said that director Scott Derrickson is the excellent choice for the film.
He shared to fans on Reddit, "Doctor Strange sounds particularly interesting to me, not just because of the quality of the comic, but because of the man Marvel hired at the helm."
The 44-year-old actor added, "Scott Derrickson directed me in 'Sinister', and there's a lot of lousy horror movies made. But Scott Derrickson really understands the genre. And the math and geometry involved in telling a great ghost story. And I feel certain that he will make an excellent 'Doctor Strange' film if they give him the reins."
"Dr Strange" is set to invade theaters in November 2016, starring Benedict Cumberbatch.
