Having trouble gaining new items, and game trophies in Tales of Xillia 2? Here are some easy tips, and guidelines that can help achieve the things you want in the game courtesy of Cheat Code Central.
Easy items
The Kitty Dispatch system is dependent on the system time. You must save the game, then exit. Advance the system time by 30 minutes, then resume the game. Your dispatched cats will be back with their randomly discovered items. You can also change the date to get various bonuses. For example, Sundays will result in three times the normal items, and Wednesdays will increase the chance for them to return with a rare item.
Grade Shop
You must beat the final Boss of the main chapter after Chapter 15 to complete the game. Load a completed game (marked with a star) through the "New Game+" option at the title screen. The following items may now be purchased at the Grade Shop for the listed amount of grade:
2x experience - 300 grade
5x experience - 2000 grade
AC +1 - 500 grade
AC +2 - 1000 grade
Double damage (both you and enemies) - 100 grade
Double gald - 300 grade
Double gauge growth (overlimit) - 300 grade

Half artes cost - 500 grade
Inherit accessory items - 500 grade
Inherit affinity - 1000 grade
Inherit all job merit points - 600 grade

Codependency (Silver) - Hey, living through others is still living, right? Be proud of yourself! But not TOO proud.
Dimension Destroyer (Bronze) - You've destroyed your first fractured dimension. But hey, you had to, right?
Chromatist (Bronze) - A title given only to the strongest of all chromatus bearers. If someone manages to defeat that bearer, the title is passed on.
Blood Brothers (Bronze) - This is the ultimate destination for two brothers. With so little time left, may they find peace.
Beyond Judgment (Gold) - Intentions are passed down and continue into the future. Live with no regrets.
The Fatalist (Silver) - Will the same destiny befall you once again? That depends on your own choices.
