Good news Marvel fans as new updates, and possible spoilers for Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. have been revealed.
We start off with new plot details concerning the upcoming episodes season 2, as ComingSoon.net reports that Agent Coulson himself, Clark Gregg several interesting details of what kind on role will the Inhumans play in Agents of SHIELD.
“Inhumans represents a different chapter…At least in the comics, the Inhumans, they’re a race of people who’ve been transformed. They’re mutants, more or less. I’ve always loved that part of the comics. They’re people who have evolved differently, and that generates a lot of fear. Some people want to annihilate them. Some people want to lock them up. Some people want to register them. Some of them become superheroes. Some of them become monsters. I find that particularly germane. Are we going to accept the people who are different, or are we going to try to wipe them out?"
Gregg further adds on how will Agent Coulson, and his team will handle the aftermath, now that the secret is out.
“I think the first thing we’re going to deal with when we come back is (Coulson) led everyone to this place with the writings. He found this submerged, several-thousand-year-old alien city. It turned out to be like an incubating factory that turned his own most beloved protégée — his surrogate daughter — into something else and got one of his team members killed. That’s not going to be easy on his new team, which has some people who he knows and trusts and some people who are much newer to him."
With Chloe Bennet's character Skye revealed as Daisy Johnson (not to mention an Inhuman with super powers), How will the rest of the team help her? Will she be a great asset to them similar to her comicbook counterpart, or a new treat that the team should face, if ever she betrays them?
These questions will soon be answered ones Agents of SHIELD returns on March 3 this year.
Meanwhile, there are rumors that two Avenger members will have guest appearances in the show.
Cinemablend reports that Iron Man, and Hawkeye are the likely candidates to make cameo appearances in the show. Hawkeye has been highly speculated to appear in the show last year, along with other notable former SHIELD members like Black Widow, and Agent Carter.
Jeremy Renner's Whosay account further hinted this idea, as he was suited for shoot in his Hawkeye attire, although he didn't say if it for the show or Avengers 2.
As for Iron Man, Enstarz first reported that Robert Downy Jr. wanted cameo in the show during a Q&A session on Reddit.
And lastly, Brent Dalton character, Grant Ward is rumored to be Marvel supervillain/mercenary Taskmaster, according to ComicBook.com.
We already know that Ward is a person with no allegiance to both SHIELD, and HYDRA, and would likely do whatever it takes to survive even stabbing friends, and allies on the back. But him being Taskmaster, is something different and makes a whole lot of sense given that he is a mercenary who works for a higher profit, which basically makes him a "neutral" party. And the fact that his fighting skills, and espionage training makes him a very dangerous person to beat similar to his comicbook version.
For now, Marvel hasn't said anything about Ward being Taskmaster, but knowing Marvel, anything can happen.
