The latest news and spoilers on "House of Cards" revolve around Doug Stamper, whose fate was left as a major cliffhanger, but will likely stay dead. Meanwhile, the Netflix series will be televised in Havana, Cuba.
In "House of Cards" season 2, chapter 26, Doug Stamper (Michael Kelly) was bludgeoned by Rachel Posner with a rock while he chased him into the woods. However, his eyes twitched which means there's still hope that he would survive.
The first episode of the third season will have police investigating his death.
According to Starcasm two things point to the clue that Doug Stamper is dead. One is showrunner Beau Willimon himself saying "it was pretty evident that Stamper wouldn't be coming back."
Also Michael Kelly has been filming two films, while production for "House of Cards" was ongoing. He was also cast in "The Secret in their Eyes" opposite Nicole Kidman and Julia Roberts.
"So, at this point, it seems the real question isn't whether or not Doug dies, but what the effect of his death has on the Underwoods," it said.
For his part, Kevin Spacey refused to give spoilers for "House of Cards" season 3.
"Well, I can reveal that there will be many scenes and some of those scenes will take place in The White House. There's your headline right there," he told The National.
In other "House of Cards" season 3 news, Chicago Timesreported that people with access to Internet can stream the Netflix series along with "Orange is the New Black."
Netflix CEO Reed Hastings said in a statement: "Cuba has great filmmakers and a robust arts culture, and one day we hope to be able to bring their work to our global audience."
Watch out for more "House of Cards" season 3 spoilers and news ahead of the airing date on Feb. 27 on Netflix.
