Contrary to rumors, Bobbi Kristina remains on life support after she was found unconscious in a bathtub last Jan. 31.
Bobbi Brown's aunt revealed in a report by Mirror that Whitney Houston's daughter is showing signs of improvement. Leolah Brown, Bobby's sister, said that her niece is "opening her eyes" and is "doing well" while she's in life support.
"So many signs that she will be OK, despite what people are saying over the internet, Krissy is fine," Leolah said in an interview with Fox as reported by Mirror. "She's opening her eyes and there's a few more things that she's doing. Krissy is doing well right now."
Reportedly, a criminal investigation is currently being conducted by the Roswell police in relation to what happened to Bobby Brown's daughter.
US Magazine reported that rumors have been circulating regarding Whitney Houston's daughter being taken off life support. This called the attention of Bobby Brown to speak up through his legal counsel after the family hosted a "Shining a Light for Healing" vigil.
"We support the candlelight vigil for Bobbi Kristina. The Brown family is amazed by the love and support from all that attended," legal counsel for Bobby Brown told The Insider With Yahoo.
"However the false reports that continue to appear in print and on the internet are egregious, false and will be dealt with at an appropriate time. In particular, the false reporting of TMZ, The National Enquirer, The Atlanta Journal Constitution and the Daily Mail (UK) citing, police sources, family sources and Bobby Brown himself, will receive my attention," the statement said.
It added: "The desire to be 'first' has clouded the judgment of many reporters as they forgo accuracy. This is a criminal investigation and the integrity of that process requires silence. We continue to request privacy in this matter. We thank everyone that supported the vigil for Bobbi Kristina. God is hearing our prayers."
The lawyer did not specify the untruthful information in question. However, an assumption from Us Weekly magazine pointed to reports stating that "Bobbi Kristina would be taken off life support on the third anniversary of her mother's death."
